Stroller

Inside Abruzzo Airport you can bring the stroller with you through security checks; it must be tagged at the check-in counter and then boarded once passed the gate. At the arrival, your stroller will be delivered at the exit of the aircraft or at the baggage claim area.
The stroller can also be boarded directly at the moment of the check-in, it will be tagged as hold luggage and then you have to bring it at the oversized baggage zone, next to the security checks. At the arrival, your stroller will be delivered at the baggage claim area.

Security checks

Exceptions to liquid limitations are provided for baby food. They can exceed the limit of 100 ml (3.4 ounces) and can be left outside the transparent re-sealable bag. Baby food is only allowed for quantities sufficient for the travel and will be inspected separately from the hand luggage. Exceptions are provided also for liquid medicines which will be inspected separately from the hand luggage before the security checks.

Inside the airport you'll find nurseries located next to the toilets.

Pregnant women

Pregnant women who don't feel like undergoing metal detector checks, can ask to be manually inspected by a security woman operator.

Children travelling alone

Transport of pets

Pets transport has to be notified to the travel agency or to the airline at the moment of the flight booking. Each airline establishes different regulations for transporting pets. Check your airline website for further information. Small pets are allowed to travel in the cabin, otherwise it must travel in the hold. In any case, all pets must be transported in containers suitable for their size. Bring your pet's health documents and check the vaccination and certificates required in your country of destination.
